Jane Hentgen is married to Steven D. Hentgen and is mother of Nickolas and Alexander. She was born in Columbus, Ohio and is a graduate of Upper Arlington High School in Columbus. Jane is a graduate of Ohio State University with a B.A. in Literature. She taught at Madison Plains High School in London, Ohio, and Maconaquah High School in Miami County, IN. Wabash Activities: member of Wabash First United Methodist Church, Doris Blake Circle Treasurer, Sunday School teacher, delivers Meals on Wheels, and a member of Delta Theta Tau Sorority. Jane works part time at the funeral homes.

Steven Hentgen, a licensed funeral director since 1977, was born in Wabash, is a graduate of Northfield High School, graduated from Vincennes University with an Associates Degree in Business, and is a graduate of the Indiana College of Mortuary Science.  He is President of Grandstaff-Hentgen Funeral Service, Inc. and Memorial Lawns Cemetery Inc.  Steve is a member of Wabash First United Methodist, where he sings in the church choir and the George Berg Quartet.  He is a member of Wabash Kiwanis Club, Wabash Optimist Club, Wabash Masonic Lodge #61, Fort Wayne Scottish Rite and Mizpah Shrine, Wabash Shrine Club, Wabash Elks and Moose Lodges.  He is on the Board of Overseers of the Honeywell House, the Wabash County Hospital Foundation Board of Directors, and the Board of Directors of the Wabash Community Foundation.

Chad Maple, a Licensed Funeral Director since 1996, was born in Wabash to Barry and Kay (Grandstaff) Maple.  Chad is the grandson of Lloyd Grandstaff who founded Grandstaff Funeral Home in 1933.  He is married to Christy who is a Parent Educator for Youth Service Bureau in Wabash, Indiana.  They are the parents of Brandon Charles, who died in 2004, Caden Wayne, born April 6, 2006, and Laney Kay born May 11, 2008.  Chad is a graduate of Wabash High School, attended Indiana University, and is a graduate of Mid-America College of Mortuary Science.  He is Secretery/Treasurer of Grandstaff-Hentgen Funeral Service, Inc., and a member and trustee of the Roann United Methodist Church, member of the Monday Night Industrial Bowling League and the Honeywell Golf Course Board of Directors.

Kathleen Grandstaff, wife of Ken, lives in Roann and has two children: Julie (Joe) Kostka and Jean (Doug) Morehouse, and two grandsons, Nathan Kostka, and Jack Morehouse, and one granddaughter, Anna Marie Morehouse.  She was born in Richmond, Indiana, and is a graduate of Bunker Hill High School, Bunker Hill, Indiana.  She has a Bachelor and Master’s Degree from Ball State University and taught at Randall Elementary School on Grissom Air Force Base near Peru.  Kathie was the music teacher for Wabash Elementary Schools for two years.  With the arrival of Julie and Jean, she taught piano in her home for many years.  She is a member of the Roann United Methodist Church, United Methodist Women, Wabash Musicale, Happy Homemakers Home Ec Club, and she serves on the Boards of Directors of Wabash Valley Music Association, Tender Heart Daycare, and Stockdale Mill Foundation.

Ken Grandstaff, a licensed funeral director since 1962, is husband of Kathie, lifetime resident of Roann, graduate of Roann High School, Indiana University, and Indiana College of Mortuary Science.  He and Kathie have two daughters, Julie (Joe) Kostka and Jean (Doug) Morehouse, and two grandsons, Nathan Kostka and Jack Morehouse, and a granddaughter, Anna Marie Morehouse.  He is a member of the Roann United Methodist Church, past President of Roann Lions Club, past President of Roann Merchants Association, and President of Roann Development Corp.  Ken's memberships also include: Wabash Rotary Club, Wabash Elks Club, past President of the Indiana Funeral Directors Association, former member and Chairman of the Indiana State Board of Funeral and Cemetery Service, and Hanna Masonic Lodge, Fort Wayne Scottish Rite and Mizpah Shrine and Wabash Shrine Club.  He is a Life Member of the Honeywell Foundation.

Wesley G. Cole, a licensed funeral director, is married to the former Pamela Batt. They are originally from Muncie, but have made their home in Wabash since 2002. The Coles are the proud grandparents of two, Katelyn Grace and Caleb Wesley Swan, and the parents of two children, Nathaniel of Wabash, and Deven (Stephen) Swan of Marion.

Wes was born in Rushville, Indiana, and is a graduate of Muncie Southside High School and Cincinnati College of Mortuary Science. He also attended the University of Indianapolis, Vincennes University, and Polk County Community College in Winter Haven, Florida. He retired from the US Air Force after more than 20 years of service, and has served in the funeral industry since 1977 around the country. His memberships include Wabash Church of the Nazarene and American Legion Post 15 of Wabash. He also serves on the board of trustees for the Lighthouse Mission (Wabash County Thrift Store).

Denise M. Miller, licensed to engage in the business of life insurance in the State of Indiana as a Resident Producer Individual. She was born in Kokomo and is married to Mark T. Miller, a grain farmer who also specializes in raising Angus beef. They reside in southern Wabash County and attend St. Joan of Arc Catholic Church in Kokomo where she sings in the adult choir. Denise is a professed member of the Secular Franciscan Order of the Lady Clare Fraternity. She is the Minority Representative for the Wabash County Committee of the Farm Service Agency.

Prior to joining us, she worked 18 years at Vernon Manor Children's Home as a secretary, bookkeeper, personnel manager, and resident funds manager. She enjoys singing, playing the guitar, sewing, and calligraphy. She joined our staff at Grandstaff-Hentgen Funeral Service, Inc. in 2002 as our Family Service Representative, assisting individuals making funeral pre-arrangements.

Stephen Dafoe Stephen Dafoe, a licensed funeral director since 2008, has been with the firm since 2006. He is the son of Douglas and Ruth Dafoe of West Milton, Ohio. Stephen has a home in North Manchester. Stephen is engaged to marry Megan Steele, of Wabash, in April of 2010.

Born in Fort Wayne, Indiana, Stephen is a 2000 graduate of Milton-Union High School in West Milton. In 2007 he received his Bachelor of Mortuary Science degree from Cincinnati College of Mortuary Science. He also attended the University of Toledo, Wright State University, and Sinclair Community College. Stephen attends the North Manchester Missionary Church. His memberships include the Board of Directors for the North Manchester Chamber of Commerce and the Fun-Fest committee, the Junior Achievement board of the Manchester Community School System, the North Manchester Rotary Club, and the Wabash County Young Professionals Network.
